I have never considered myself to be a Dolly Parton fan.
My sister, Beth, and I grew up calling her "Dolly Apartment." We figured she could house our little barbie dolls in her chest, it was so large! I can't even bring myself to put a photo of her on my blog she looks so silly!
But I just have to blog and say that I was very touched by her very real performance on American Idol last week. It was surprising and special to me. I wouldn't blog it otherwise.

Dolly Apartment, that is funny! She was very sweet on American Idol, I agree.
I miss American Idol, I haven't been able to watch it this year because of mutual, and the biggest loser. Can you say BOTOX?
But is was a good song. She is just a lot prettier with out sugery. If I ever consider letting somebody take a knife to my face, will you please be the one to stop them? And will you also tell me when I have wiskers growing out of my face when I am too old to see them?
That was a great song- it seems like it's not that often anymore that we see or hear songs like that on tv- go Dolly!
