Melia is bad sleeper, and it is most likely our fault. She can't just climb into bed, hear a night time story, say her prayers and go to bed. Nope, not her, she was spoiled as a baby because we always held her to sleep, rocked her to sleep, watched tv with her to sleep...ugh. A mistake we are not making with Sophie. Well she is always falling asleep in random places, often an hour past the time she should have gone to bed.But hey, good news! She is doing a lot better now that she doesn't nap during the day. Now she usually goes to bed between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Hooray! It is still in pathetic places, as pictured above, but at least the time is an improvement! I guess we'll have to keep working on the night time routine though!

asleep in the midst of shoes! That's hilarious! What a great picture. We made mistakes with Alison, too, when it came to bed time. We started early with Max though! He already is put to bed by himself-70% of the time anyway. We still like to cuddle. PS Thanks for posting some more pictures!

I have similar sleep issues, I have not done any better though with Eliza. Both my kids have to have us around in order to fall asleep. What are you doing differently with Sophie, I am needing some ideas, and some better sleep!
Ok Where is Melia? In a closet? That cracks me up!!! Milo has the same sleeping problems, but I figure it is easier to keep him up until he is really tired and then we only have to lay with him for 5 minutes before he is out. But that means we have to deal with his antics well into the 10 o clock hour. But he is great so it works for us.
Annie you slacker...You need to update your blog...fyi my kids are healthy as can be, but thanks for the warning. I hope you have gotten rid of the sickies in your house. Poor Melia.
